Accessibility statement
We want everyone to be able to use the Neurominds website and access our assessment service, whatever their needs.
Our commitment
Neurominds is committed to making our website accessible to as many people as possible, in line with the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 at level AA. We recognise that many of the people who use this site are autistic, have ADHD, or have other access needs, so accessible design matters to us.
We aim to ensure that the site can be used with a keyboard, works with common screen readers and assistive technologies, allows text to be resized without loss of content, and uses clear language, generous spacing and sufficient colour contrast.
How accessible this site is
We are working towards full conformance with WCAG 2.1 AA. Some parts of the site may not yet be fully accessible. Known issues, where any have been identified, will be listed here: [known issues to confirm].
Where parts of the service are provided through our separate assessment platform, accessibility may differ from this website, and we are reviewing those areas as part of our ongoing work.
Getting information in another format
If you need information from this site in a different format — for example, large print, easy read, plain text, or as a document you can read with assistive technology — please get in touch and we will do our best to help.
You can reach us at [email to confirm] or [phone to confirm], or use our enquiry form. Please tell us the format you need and the information you are looking for, and we will consider your request and aim to respond within [typical timescale to confirm].
Reporting accessibility problems
We are always looking to improve the accessibility of this site. If you find a problem that is not already listed above, or you think we are not meeting accessibility requirements, please let us know at [email to confirm] so we can look into it.
When you contact us, it helps to include the web address (URL) of the page, a short description of the problem, and details of the device, browser or assistive technology you were using.
Reasonable adjustments for assessment
Accessibility is not only about our website. We can make reasonable adjustments to how an assessment is carried out so that it works for you. Depending on your needs, this might include longer or shorter appointments, breaks, written information in advance, a quieter or familiar environment, support with completing questionnaires, or having a trusted person with you.
If you would like to discuss adjustments before referring yourself or booking, please make an enquiry and tell us what would help. We will talk through the options with you.
